Martin House Children's Hospice provides vital care to help children and young people with a life-limiting condition, along with their families, to live well and fully, offering the best possible end of life care and support to the family in bereavement.

Story

Martin House supports children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across West, North and East Yorkshire. Our vision is that every child and young person has access to palliative care when and where they need it.

Martin House only receive 11% of their funding from the government and predominently rely on the good will of the general public for financial support.

COVID has hit everyone hard but charities have really suffered more than most. That being the case the DSEC Team have decided to do their bit and raise as much money as possible to help  them out. We are going to walk the Yorkshire three peaks in 24hrs. Thats nearly 24 miles with a total ascent of 4500ft by a group of people who probably struggle to run for a bus!

Most of us are parents and if we needed the exceptional care and support that Martin House provide we would welcome it with open arms.

So please please dig deep and and donate whatever you can
