Ben Lomond · 25 April 2015

We're Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). We care for children throughout Scotland with life-shortening conditions and their families. We make sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief, we're determined that joy lives on.

Story

As the 1st Principal of St. Vincent Plantation  Royal Arch Chapter No 259.and Past Principal of St. John R.A.C No 257.  I wanted to do something special for my second year in office  other than just serve my term in office.  As a charitable organisation I am hoping to gather some momentum and get a few others to join me in the venture

Why CHAS after donating to the Bring a £ to work and listening to the Stories of Parents and the Children who have used the services of Chas, I felt for everyone of them, how the staff can do a job like this on a daily basis is beyond  belief ( I take my hat off to them )

I have attended and Supported many charity events but  now its my turn to hold the event and get the support.

Why Ben Lomond well as a keen armature Photographer and having always wanting to walk up Ben Lomond.  I thought I would combine a few things and raise cash along the way for charity and to Spur me on.I have not done any hill walking in over 20 years so it will be a challenge for me  BUT I will do it
