Staff and students of the Military and Protective Services Academy at Duchy College, will be taking part in the Poppy Run at Duchy College on the 11th November, after the Service of Rememberance. All will run 5, 8, 10 or 12km. Poppy Runners are helping support the Poppy Appeal which was founded to help those in need following a national crisis. For 100 years the Legion has been fighting for the Armed Forces community and has worked tirelessly to ensure that those who have made sacrifices for us are being looked after, no matter what challenges the country faces. This last year more than ever that support has been needed to help the most vulnerable in our society, be it older veterans that we care for, those who suffer from social isolation, or those who are simple overwhelmed by the challenge associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.
