Nigel Dudley and future son-in-law Mark Fuller are running the KHH 10K at Shugborough for the third time this year. We wouldn't call ourselves serious runners but our cause is a serious one. Possibly everyone will know of someone who has benefited from the support of a hospice in their final days. We may need to call upon its care ourselves one day. It is great to know that such care is available and we are delighted to be raising money again in support of that care in our community.

We were delighted last year that, as a result of the enormous generosity of our friends and colleagues who identified with and supported the cause, we raised, with gift aid, just short of £1000. Thank you to all those sponsored us; it really did make us feel so good to be running for this cause, knowing the extent of the support that had been pledged or donated. It would be nice if we could better that total this year but we are pleased to be able to raise whatever our supporters are able to give; every little helps and it really does not matter how small or large an individual donation is. All are gratefully received. Please consider gift-aiding your donation, though, if you are a tax payer because that is a simple way to generate extra funding directly from the Inland Revenue without cost to yourself.
