Story
The innocence of children
Jenna is 5 and cried a few days ago when she realised that some children go to bed hungry and asked me for some coins to put in our charity box
I explained how lucky we are to have so many blessings, even if life is a little different now due to the coronavirus and explained that we can continue to help and support others whenever possible. We spoke about raising money for orphaned children and how this can help buy food, emergency supplies and toys and bring smiles for Eid
Jenna wants to do a sponsored walk and the target is very optimistic of 50,000 steps over 5 days before Eid (bear in mind I will need to walk with her and will be fasting) so if not sponsoring in view of her determination then perhaps have some sympathy for me?!
Al-Ayn social care foundation provides holistic support for orphans and makes a difference to the lives of thousands of orphans in Iraq. Please help make a difference and bring a smile to the hearts of innocent children

Ramadan is the month where everyone comes together. Community gatherings and visits to our loved ones are intertwined with the spirit of the month. This year we are set to experience a very different month of Ramadhan. We know, however, that being apart does not mean we are alone. At Al-Ayn, we know that the long distances have never stopped you from caring, from loving. This month of Ramadhan, we are coming together, more than ever before, to care for each other, and for those in need, now more than ever before. Our Ramadhan 2020 Appeal will help address the crisis facing families of orphaned children across Iraq due to the ongoing pandemic. It will also help provide orphaned children with urgent financial support to help life them out of poverty and secure them with regular allowances.
