Story

The Dumfries and Galloway Standard and The Galloway News are raising money for charity.

Reporters Trish Lewis and Stephen Temlett, along with advertising reps Laura Semple and Charis Hannay will be taking part in the Dumfries Half Marathon to raise money for Dumfries and Galloway SANDS on Sunday September 22.

SANDS provide an invaluable service to families affected by the loss of a baby, whether it be through miscarriage, stillbirth or illness. The staff and volunteers are very caring and very supportive in the work that they do.

That is why we have decided to run the half marathon to raise money for our local branch and we need your help. Please, please, please do leave a donation or contact the office on 01387 240328. Thank you.
