Trek 24 - Suffolk Coast & Country · 11 June 2022 ·

Welcome to EAAA's Suffolk Coast & Country Trek 24 page. This team will be taking on 24 miles or 24 kilometres on Saturday 11th June 2022. When you support our trekkers with a donation, you'll be helping to keep our helicopters flying!

Story

East Anglian Air Ambulance receives no regular government funding and relies entirely on the support of the community. The crews are tasked an average of 8 times a day across the two bases, with each mission costing in the region of £3,500.

They can reach anywhere in our region within 25 minutes when every second can make the difference to a patient in their time of need.

One of my very best mates Gary Spitzer (Small Gary) is a Paramedic working out of Cambridge Base on his chopper and I know just how hard he and his team mates work and what an incredible difference they all make to our world each and every single day!  Thank you!
