The Weeton Pirates will be running the 2011 Knaresborough Bed Race to raise money for Harrogate Grammar Schools' Grounds 4 Success campaign. The team are veterans in two senses of the word as this will be our 5th run and we are getting on a bit!

Grounds 4 Success was launched in 2010 to raise the funds to build a much needed artficial turf pitch at Harrogate Grammar School. This facility will benefit students at Harrogate Grammar as well as over 1000 youngsters from local primary schools and community groups who use the school site on a regular basis for sport coaching and events.  When built, over 3,000 children between the ages of 5 and 18 will be able to use the new pitch every year.
