We have one clear aim: to End Duchenne

Story

Russell and Duncan think they've found a fun route to cycle off-road from near Glasgow to Ullapool - they're going to give it a try on 24th May.  It's 450km with a lot of rough ground and 8,000m of ascent. They'll be carrying everything they need to eat, sleep and pedal (although any sustaining food or beer found en route is fair game).  It might take a while...

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a devastating muscle-wasting disease. It is the most common and severe form of Muscular Dystrophy. Diagnosed in childhood, it mainly affects boys. There is currently no cure. Started by families affected by the disease, Duchenne UK has one clear aim – to end Duchenne. As the leading Duchenne charity in the UK, we connect the best researchers with industry, the NHS and families to challenge every stage of drug development to make the incurable, curable. Together, we will end Duchenne.

There have been some exciting announcements recently on the work that Duchenne UK are doing - check out their website for more details.
