Story
Hi everyone. I have updated my page. Due to an unresolved knee injury and advice from a physiotherapist, I am going to have to stop running. My challenge continues however because I am hopping on a bike and doubling my distance. So 900kms. London to Paris and back again..."virtually". Gutted I had to change it but I am determined. Thanks for all who have given and those to give from now!
As many of you may be aware. i am off on tour for the first half of 2013. I travel to many Cities all over the UK.
One of my New Year's Resolutions (along with learning to play the guitar) is to get really fit once and for all. Ripped by summer as it were! I have decided to cycle 900kilometres. It is equidistant to London - Paris and back again.
I will be doing this in memory of my Mum who lost her fight with Cancer in April 2012.
My chosen charity will be The Salisbury Hospice who looked after my Mum so well during her final days with us. They are funded solely from donations so please give generously.
The challenge may not sound huge but as busy as i am going to be touring this year it really is a task i will need support with so all yout generosity will spur me on to succeed. I will be posting my distances and progress onto Facebook and Twitter @duncheather so please look out for progress.
Many thanks friends.
Duncan
