Our RNLI lifeboats in Ireland protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

For 180 years a lifeboat has launched from Dun Laoghaire; today the station operates both an inshore lifeboat and an all-weather lifeboat. During its history the station has witnessed tragedy with 17 lifeboat crew losing their lives saving others at sea.



RNLI lifeboats in the Ireland protect hundreds of communities through their 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.
