Leeds Memory Walk, Roundhay Park · 6 September 2014 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Help Duo raise money for this great cause.
Please help me raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
All of the money I raise will help support people living with dementia and their families, so your donation will make a huge difference.

Just £50 will pay for someone with dementia to go to a Dementia Café session every week for a month, where they can meet others, share experiences and feel less isolated. And the more I raise, the bigger the difference it will make.

I will be doing a Memory Walk to raise money and awareness of dementia. On September 6th I will be walking 6 miles, not only to help people suffering from the disease and their families. But for my grandmother who has the disease, she is slowly forgetting who she is and has now forgotten who I am. I will be walking every step in honour of her and the happy memories she has given me.

So please help me raise money for this great cause, and help those in need. Thank you all.
