Story
Dear friends,
On 22/3/2020. Croatian capital Zagreb, was hit by a strong earthquake and caused significant material damage mainly in the city centre, with several fires reported. It was the biggest earthquake in Zagreb in the last 140 years.
Many people were injured and one 15 year old girl died. Several hospitals were evacuated incl. the main maternity hospital Petrova.
People had to leave their homes and are in need of alternative accommodation, which is particularly difficult to organise during the COVID-19 quarantine.
They are also in need of food supply, hygiene products, warm clothes and blankets, since many of these items are now lost in the debris of their ruined homes.
ADRA U.K. is ready to transfer any donations given to them for Zagreb Earthquake to ADRA Croatia who will provide humanitarian assistance to people effected by the quake.
Please HELP!!.
