You have been asked to donate to a charitable cause close to David's heart. As you now know he is retiring from Newcastle University after 11 years of service but we want to celebrate his IT service to you all.

Of course being David, he didn't want a great deal of fuss and when I suggested that we need to show our appreciation for his help and advice, his dedication and impeccable service and of course his sensational dry wit; it seemed appropriate to set up a retirement fund but not in the traditional way. David requested that we support a charity and one that has helped him and his wife over the last few years.
