Having raised over £50,000 since 2007 The Stalwarts embark on another campaign of fund raising this season.
The theme is to make a 100 (pounds) in a series of events.
For example when the Stalwarts take to the field for their own brand of 20/20 cricket each player will pay a match fee of £10 thus making at least a "Ton" for the charity.
The 2018 season will season see simple tried and tested fundraising ideas such as name cards, refreshment sales, quizzes based around the cricket. We are confident that with our usual fantastic support that we can make some "Daddy Hundreds" as Graham Gooch would say!
As is the norm we don't set a target, we have put a thousand at the top of the page only cos we have to put something, we'll just have some fun and see where it goes but if you have an idea for an event or want to join in please contact Denton West CC.
Our first event of 8 Jun - a Stalwarts cricket match raised over £100 and the receipts will be posted soon with subs and a football card
Our second event a game versus our old friend The Lemons takes place on 15th June.
