Story

So this definitely a case of not staying in my lane!

We're only a month removed from my 34th marathon but there's no rest for the wicked... or for a self-proclaimed National Treasure!

That's why, on the 26th of September, I'll be taking on my first ever parachute jump. And for someone who is so nervous about flying that they keep their eyes shut during the take-off and landing on a standard flight... well, at least this time round I won't need to worry about the landing part!

Limbpower as a charity do truly amazing things. Not least creating a pathway for a number of athletes that you'll see competing in the Paras over the next few weeks.

They're not just a sports-based charity though as they understand that not all individuals with limb impairments can take part in sport or want to take part in sport. Participation in the visual arts, performing arts, literature and film and television have many of the same health benefits as participation in sport and this is something that the folks at Limbpower have worked so hard to develop.

So please, if you can, drop a few quid to see me drop a few thousand feet out of a plane!
