I am running the New York Marathon in November this year in order to raise money and promote awareness for 2 charities.

 

The 1st charity I am supporting is Operation Florian, a charity that promotes the protection of life amongst communities in need, by providing equipment and training to improve fire-fighting and rescue capabilities.

 

The second, and another one close to many hearts is the Leukemia Ward in Manchester Childrens Hospital, in memory of a special young boy, Charlie, who lost his fight against leukemia in December 2010. 

 

2 very different charities + 2 very worthwhile causes + 26.2 very long miles + many generous friends = 1 VERY tired Dylan + lots of money raised for charity!
