Story

My Mum sadly passed away on 6th April.  Treetops Hospice provided fantastic care in her final weeks which allowed her to remain at home, as she wished.

To do something positive as a way to remember his Nan, Dylan will use his daily exercise during lockdown to cycle the equivalent distance of riding around one of my Mum's favourite holiday destinations (Lake Orta, Stresa, Italy) in order to fundraise for Treetops who are significantly impacted in their ability to fundraise at this difficult time.  The route is a popular cycle route and is just under 50 miles.

Whilst it will be amazing to raise money for this charity which made such a difference for our family, this is more about Dylan making a small difference through this challenge.  The main fundraising has been achieved through the very kind donations made by family and friends and at the last count is approaching £2,500 (jennifershirt.muchloved.com).  For Dylan, if you can spare just one or two pounds and leave some words of encouragement I know Dylan (age 6) would be really proud to achieve his £100 target!
