This page has been made in loving memory of three year old Dylan-James Cramp-Williamson.
Dylan-James was diagnosed with Stage four Wilms tumour in July 2017. After many attempts of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, Dylan-James unfortunately lost his battle with cancer on the 22nd of June 2018. He passed away peacefully in the arms of his mother. Dylan-James was a cheeky, bright and caring soul who was very much loved by his family and touched so many others.
Our aim is to fund-raise and donate as much money towards the CLIC Sargent cancer charity. This charity provides amazing care and knowledge for parents and families to enable them to support a child who has recently be diagnosed with cancer.
The CLIC Sargent cancer charity provided our family with incredible support whilst going through Dylan-James’ year of harsh treatments. The charity extended clinical, practical and emotional support to our family, which in turn allowed us to make the most of Dylan-James’ last year with us. They supported our family in coping with the reality of his illness. The CLIC Sargent nurses were able to help Dylan-James throughout the year whilst at home and in the hospital. This meant less time was spent traveling to and from the hospital, making the journey a little easier.
The CLIC Sargent social workers were also able to offer pastoral support for our family after diagnosis, answering any questions, concerns and worries at any time during his last year of treatment.
As a family that has been cared for immensely by the CLIC Sargent cancer charity, we could not be more appreciative for their incredible medical advice, care and support throughout Dylan-James’ diagnosis and post-treatment care. .
In memory of Dylan-James, donations and fund-raising will be welcomed with huge appreciation.
