Through innovative programs, effective partnerships, and the latest science, the Snow Leopard Trust is saving the magnificent snow leopard and improving the lives of people who live in the snow leopard countries of South and Central Asia.

Story

My name is Dylan Hrynaszkiewicz and I will be 10 years old in 2022. I’ve been passionate about the environment, nature and science since the age of seven, when I did my first fun run for the Marine Conservation Society.

The snow leopard is an incredible animal that’s very close to my heart. I found these animals so incredible I wrote a short fiction novel where one of the main characters is a snow leopard. The story is called Take Us To Alaska, and the cover art was created by one of my school friends. The only problem is snow leopards are a critically endangered species and are under threat now more than ever.

So, on the 21st of May 2022 I will be running 8 miles (12.9 kilometres) to help raise money for the Snow Leopard Trust, a charity that helps protect these amazing animals. In 2021 I ran 10 kilometres for Cool Earth (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/dylan-rainforest-project).

Thank you in advance to anyone who donates. For the person who makes the biggest donation I would be happy to send you a printed copy of Take Us To Alaska, which can’t yet be bought in shops. Please send your contact information if you would like a chance to receive the book. Thank you for reading.
