Thanks to our fantastic fundraisers we are able to provide real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss.

Story

We think it’s fair to say that Dylan's hair reflects his personality and his character as a whole-he loves his hair and going over his photos over the years he's had various styles, long, short hair, mohawks, his sister has even crimped it for him before 🤣
Dylan last had a proper short back and sides in June 2025 and we were talking about the Little Princess Trust and how wigs can be made for children who have had illnesses that cause them to lose their hair. A few days later Dylan asked me if there was a prince trust as he loves his hair and would feel sad if boys didn’t have the opportunity to have a wig if they lost hair also. We contacted the Princess Trust and they told us that they provide wigs for both boys and girls and as long as his hair was grown to a certain length it would be accepted to provide a wig for a child in need of one.
The children who request one via the charity are provided them free of charge but each wig actually costs the charity £700 to make!
We ordered the booklet and Dylan read through it and said yep let’s do it! So here we are, he's been growing it ever since! Now here’s where you come in! We would love to raise enough to get 2 children’s wigs made but the more we can raise the more we can make obviously so please give generously to this great cause and help kids that are going through enough to lose their hair on top of an illness-it's just so horrible for them, and also boys love their hair as much as the girls so this one is to raise awareness that we can do this for the chaps too!
The Little Princess Trust provides wigs to children to help restore their confidence and identity. All costs, including the making, fitting, and styling of the wig, are met by the charity, and this free service is available to any young person up to the age of 24 with hair loss. As part of its Hair and Hope mission, The Little Princess Trust also funds childhood cancer research aiming to find kinder and more effective treatments.
