Do Your Thing has always been proud to support The Christie by doing many fundraising performances over the years. We have strong connections with The Christie as some of our members or their families have been patients, and some of our choir members work there. We know the vitally important work that they do and how challenging these times are and we wanted to do our bit.

2020 has been incredibly challenging for choirs up and down the country. Since March, we have not been able to experience the joy of singing together in one room and that magical feeling of all voices coming together in harmony. It’s not been easy but this time has allowed us the opportunity to channel our creativity and produce fundraising videos for really important causes like The Christie.

What makes this video so special is the fact that our choir members, without hesitation, did something way out of their comfort zone for a much bigger cause. They had virtual zombie makeup tutorials, virtual dance classes to master Thriller moves and had the technical challenge of filming themselves, many of whom are retired or who live on their own, to create a video to help fundraise a charity that so many hold close to their hearts.
