John O'Groats to Lands End 2015 · 22 May 2015
25 years ago, at the age of 25, I cycled from John O'Groats to Lands End to raise money for charity. This year, I plan to do it again as a personal challenge and to raise money for a young but amazing charity. This should take me eight days and will see me cover around 900 miles with two close friends and some great guys as a support crew.
I'm raising money for Shropshire & Staffordhire Blood Bikes, a fantastic charity which saves the local NHS thousands of pounds each year. They are a 100% volunteer led service providing urgent transportation of life saving medical supplies to the NHS Foundations across the region. With dedicated, unpaid volunteers, they aim to be operational 24 hours a day 365 days a year and transport blood, tissue samples, platelets, frozen plasma, meningitis fluid and even breast milk donated for premature babies.
Please do what you can to support me on this challenge. I'm twice the age I was then but feel more up for the task than I did 25 years ago. Help me to smash my target of £3,000 and give some valuable funds to this superb charity.
