Adidas Manchester Marathon 2023 · 16 April 2023 ·

The Survivors Trust is the largest membership organisation for specialist rape and sexual abuse services in the UK. We aim to support and empower survivors of rape, sexual violence and/or childhood sexual abuse.

Story

Me and my sister have gone slightly crazy and decided to take on the Manchester marathon. This is our first marathon and we will be running for a hugely important charity, the Survivors Trust.

Every five minutes in the UK someone experiences rape, attempted rape, or sexual assault. 15% of girls and 5% of boys have experienced sexual violence by the time they are sixteen. The Survivors Trust is the only UK and Ireland-wide umbrella agency for specialist organisations supporting all survivors of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. Their core aim is to ensure that society supports all survivors effectively and takes responsibility for ending sexual violence. Help us to achieve this.

Every £5 donated can be used to help run their support line for an hour. Every donation will also help provide support to individual survivors depending on what they need. This could be support such as therapy, advice and guidance, emotional support and lots more.

We would love to be able to raise some money for such an important charity and help the Survivors Trust to continue to support people who need it most.

Please help us to do that if you can and feel free to share our page 👍🏼
