At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have run a couple of half marathons each before, but this year we are running on what should have been my Dad's 62nd birthday. Dad sadly lost his battle with cancer in April 2012, so we were unable to throw him a big 60th party and celebrate with him.

He sang so highly the praises of the Macmillan nurses who looked after him; so in my opinion the least I can do is raise whatever I can to keep them helping those who need them. Macmillan don't just help the patients but also their families, and provide support in all kinds of ways. They answer all sorts of questions and worries.

Please dig deep for this great cause. Thanks so much.
