We raise funds for Berkshire NHS Trust to improve patient care and wellbeing

Story

The East Berkshire League is extremely grateful for all the selfless hard work done by Berkshire Healthcare to battle COVID-19 in these difficult times and we want to give something back.

When it is safe for football to return, the League will host a match to raise funds for Berkshire Healthcare. The match will see Old Windsor Football Club (our current champions) play an EBL Representative Side at Burnham Football Club on a Friday evening.

Our member Clubs have been asked to donate for a player to feature in the representative side while Burnham FC has agreed that all gate receipts and bar takings are to be donated to the NHS.

Member Clubs will not be able to donate for a player to feature in the representative side until a date for the match has been confirmed. And all donations received beforehand will not guarantee a position in the side.

All NHS staff will be granted Free Entry to the match and the League has invited the appropriate person(s) from Berkshire Healthcare to be our special guests on the evening.
