In February last year a long serving and loyal member of East Hendred AFC Pat Rush passed away leaving a widow Nat and a lovely son 4 year old  Bhodi. Over many years Pat was treated at The Day Oncology Unit at The Churchill Hospital in Oxford. The Football Club of which I am Chairman are holding a Golf Day on July 12th at Goring & Streatley Golf Club to raise as much money as possible for the Oncology Unit to continue their wonderful work and care for those that need it.  As well as obtaining Sponsors for The Holes we are holding an Auction/Raffle with various prizes and in addition have set this page up for people who cannot attend or do not play Golf to donate money to this very worthy cause.

Our target is £5000 and every donation however small will help and be greatly appreciated. There are few of us whose lives have not been touched by a friend or relation or work colleague suffering from Cancer. Please help the wonderfully dedicated caring staff at The Unit to continue their wonderful work and support.
