The current economic conditions put additional strain on our society, with limited help provided to an ever growing amount of people in need. The youngest in society are exposed to incredible risk during their formative years and it is paramount we find a way to help.

London will not be my first marathon, I’m slow and it is a painful slog, but i get to the end. In London in April, I would like to see my pain and effort to bring a bit of relief to someone who needs it, today and for their future adult lives.

Barnardo's helps hundreds of thousands of children, young people, parents and carers across the UK.They dont abandon children because of who they are or what their family situation is. They listen to them, fight for their rights and do whatever it takes to protect and support them because they believe that all children have the right to a happy and healthy life. At a time when more young people need specialist help with complex issues like sexual abuse, mental health problems and serious violence, their work is more vital than ever.

It’s time to contribute with some concrete help, tomorrow’s society depends on today’s children
