15 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth every day in the UK. Our #challenge15 events will enable us to provide more support, improve bereavement care & fund research to save babies’ lives.

Story

I am doing a triathlon on Saturday 10th March 2018 as part of the Challenge 15 campaign run by Sands Charity. This will consist of a 5 mile walk from my house to grovegreen Tesco’s and from there to my Gym Topnotch which is 5.5miles, 5 miles on the bike and a 5 mile swim which will take place at my Gym. This event is only 3 weeks after I return from my travels, my fitness levels aren’t fabulous right now but this is a worthwhile cause. Please read about Sands, they take part in extensive research on still born babies and pregnancy issues effecting baby arrivals. They help support breheaved families after the loss of a baby and will work with them going forward.

On a personal note the reason for picking this charity as most of you will know my first niece was sadly born sleeping over ten years ago now, time passes but they are never forgotten and you never stop believing how unfair it is. Charities like Sands help me believe support is out there and someone is working at preventing these things from happening to other families out there.

Thank you for any donations it means a lot to me, love to you all xxx
