Rachel who founded Hidden Needs Trust asked if I wanted to help raise awareness and  money for the work that specialist preschools and opportunity groups provide for special educational needs children and their families. I have personal experience of this because I have Cerebral Palsy and when I was younger I attended the  Yeovil Opportunity Group which helped me and my parents get the right support during my early years and then helped arrange the correct support for me when I first started school .It also gave me the chance to meet other people like myself and make lifelong friends with families of others with Cerebral Palsy .  

I am a wheelchair user and compete in wheelchair sprint racing over 100 and 200 metres as well as a seated thrower and wheelchair tennis player in Somerset 

I will be racing the equivalent of 26.2 miles! against Rachel who normally runs marathons

I will be forever grateful for the time that I had at the Opportunity Group and want to give something back to them.
