CDH has impacted our family. Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) means being born with a hole in the diaphragm and affects 1 in 2,500 births. This week, 2 families will receive a CDH diagnosis for their child, either during pregnancy, or at birth. The fatality rate is 50%. Our hope is that CDH families can look forward to a bright future. CDH Australia funds medical research, creates educational content, hosts national forums, provides support services and delivers hope.
