For those of you that know me, I'm a bit of a nature enthusiast (let's face it, what's cooler than spending the day in a bog looking at moss and mushrooms?!)

But as we all know, nature is in a bit of a pickle - Thankfully for us, we have wonderful charities like Cornwall Wildlife Trust to help! 

Cornwall Wildlife Trust has recently extended its Helman Tor Nature Reserve, making it the largest reserve in Cornwall! However, to make sure this reserve thrives and becomes a productive haven for wildlife they need vital funds. 

I'd appreciate it if you could donate anything, big or small to help this amazing cause (and to support me trying to run for more than hour!)

'We all know that nature is in trouble. Despite Cornwall's wild beauty, we're losing precious wildlife here at a shocking rate, but you can be part of bold plans to apply rewilding principles to our largest nature reserve, Helman Tor. With your support, we can enable nature to take the lead in caring for itself. Rewilding is all about returning natural processes to the landscape so nature can look after itself, leading to dynamic mosaics of different habitats. It may be achieved by allowing rivers to move freely in a flood plain, streams to be dammed by beavers, or introducing large herbivores to roam extensive areas and graze naturally. This reduces the need for humans to manage the land with machinery.

Gift Aid from this fundraiser will go towards general funds and will support Cornwall Wildlife Trust's wider work.
