Story

Hi All,

First off thank you for visiting our page.

We are looking to raise as much cash as we can in memory of our own Spartan Wojciech Kociszewski who sadly lost his battle  with a tumour in Jan 2018 at a very young age.

Wojciech was a much loved character and will be missed by all of those who's life he touched.

Those who knew him well in the team said

"Wojciech was a huge character ( who didn’t deserve to be taken from us so young. We spent many a shift together and while he was allergic to work he was lots of fun to work with – his Sean Connery impression was a joy to behold! He fought cancer bravely for more than a year and with a positive outlook, even discussing which qualifications he was hoping to achieve just a few months before he lost the fight. He is greatly missed and due to the nature of his battle it’s fitting that his colleagues raise money in his memory in the hope that it helps others so they do not suffer as he did."

Graeme Lynch

"Wojciech loved the opportunity to help people, I believe it genuinely made him happy. He was someone you could really enjoy a fun conversation with, but  also someone you could rely on during difficult times.

He would have wanted us to do our best to help anyone that shared the same illness as him. If we can help even one person that suffers from a brain tumour / cancer, then I think we will have made Wojciech happy. We will always cherish the wonderful memories of Wojciech, and I believe helping others is the best way to honour his memory."

Taner Armut

Members of the team also have their friends and family having their own personal battle with brain tumours at the moment and its really important to us that we not only remember Wojciech in such a way but we also contribute in anyway that we can to the research and support of future battles.

Our plan is to complete 35 Obstacles over 22km which will be physically and emotionally grueling for us. http://www.spartanrace.uk/en/race/detail/3850/overview?filter=beast
