Royal Parks Half Marathon 2022 · 9 October 2022 ·

Mindstep was founded in memory of Max Davies who died by suicide at 22 years old in 2018. The charity funds mental health and suicide prevention research, awareness and support. We support vital research at the University of Glasgow, deliver ASIST courses and fund the training of counsellors.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Me and my brother Seb are running the royal parks half marathon in October to raise money for the Mindstep Foundation.

The Mindstep Foundation has been established following Max’s passing to fund research into the causes of suicide and support those who have been bereaved by or are at risk of suicide.

Max was an extremely close friend, teammate and housemate of mine while we were at university. His passing left a hole so significant in my life, that I couldn’t imagine the suffering of his family.

Me and Seb are going to suffer through 21km of this half marathon to help raise vital funds so we can start getting on top of the issue that is taking the lives of too many people every day.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
