Story
My dad died in 2007 from lung cancer. I remember there was a lady employed at the hospital that was giving my dad and my family support and helpful advice. Sometimes in your darkest hour, having someone just to talk to that understands your situation and can empathise, makes a positive psychological impact. A glass half-empty circumstance can become a glass half-full.
Macmillan give people with cancer their fullest support. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are their worries. They are doing whatever it takes. But without your help they can’t support everyone who needs them.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
I hope you can support my fundraising.
