“Steady Eddie” the legendary car salesman from Kent, was for most of his adult life, a huge advocate of Maidstone Rotary, principally their tirelessly work fundraising for local causes of substance, the business opportunities it presented and the social side too. 

For many years his Friday lunches were the highlight of his week and all family and most work commitments were organised around them. Eddie was ‘Mr Rotary’.

Should anyone reading this wish to recognise Eddie’s life at his time of passing then a charitable donation to what’s now The Rotary Club of Maidstone would feel the most fitting tribute. 

Their current fundraising focus is for two vital local resources, The Heart of Kent Hospice and The  Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance, whilst maintaining their invaluable support for small Maidstone charities.
