I am taking part in this wolf run to raise money towards Edward's target of £20,000. He needs an operation to drastically improve his quality of life and relieve the pain in his legs caused by cerebral palsy.

The operation is question is called selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) for short. This involves surgery on the nerves which control the spasticity (tightness) in his legs.

Unfortunately for Edward, due the severity of his cerebral palsy the operation will not be funded by the NHS. The cost of the operation and immediate aftercare is £20,000 hence why we are doing everything we can to raise this money.
