On April 26th 2015 I along with thousands of others will be pounding the streets of London in aid of good causes. Having run a number of half marathons in the past couple of years I have decided to take the plunge and go for my first 26 miler. As I'm inflicting this pain on myself I thought I may as well try and be useful and raise some money for charity while I am at it.
I have been fortunate enough to have been given a place in CLIC Sargents' running team. CLIC Sargent are a fantastic charity who provide both practical and emotional support to children and young people (and their families) who are diagnosed with cancer. To give you an idea of the kind of work they do and how your donation could make a difference:

To give you an idea of the kind of work they do and how your donation could make a difference:
- £100 pays for 4 hours of a CLIC Sargent nurse's time
- £300 can help fund a grant to help a bereaved family pay for a child's funeral
- £1,000 could pay for a family to stay for a month in accomodation close to where their child is receiving treatment.
