Passage 2000

The Passage is based in Westminster working annually with over 3,000 people who are street homeless. We help end their homelessness and inspire them to transform their lives. We run the UK’s largest Resource Centre, used by up to 150 clients daily, as well as prevention and accommodation projects.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In August, a group of brave souls from the Edelman Corporate Reputation team will be undertaking the 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of Passage 2000. We will be climbing the highest mountain in each nation of Great Britain: Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowden (Wales) in under 24 hours... Hopefully!

Given London’s severe lack of hills for training, the fact that no one can read a map and everyone is seemingly allergic to the stairs, this challenge will prove a test for us all. Talk about ultimate team bonding.

We have chosen to raise money for Passage, a charity local to Victoria that runs London's largest voluntary sector day centre for homeless and vulnerable people.

Homelessness has risen 169% in the UK since 2010, and Passage works to help over 200 people every day. It offers access to services including primary needs (showers, access to clothes, etc.), housing and welfare advice, health services, and employment and training services. The charity also runs hostels for rough-sleepers and studio flats for those ready to move into independent living.

We really appreciate anything you can give to this worthy cause.
