In memory of Eden Coombs
We help adults with life limiting illnesses to improve their quality of life.

Story

Eden Coombs was a much loved wife and mother and a teacher at Hackness C of E Primary School.  She was a friend to staff and parents and an inspiration and mother figure to the many children who were lucky enough to have spent time with her. A true angel, Eden was taken far too soon and is missed dearly by her family, friends, colleagues and pupils. She loved butterflies and their beauty and colour represent her perfectly.

The Butterfly Ball Fund has been created in order to organise a charity ball as a tribute to Eden and to raise much needed funds for the wonderful work done by St Catherine's Hospice. In addition, some of the proceeds will be spent creating a memory and nature garden where those who knew Eden can spend time with their thoughts of her and hopefully maybe see some butterflies.
