Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

Come along to a fun and fantastic fundraising event I'm helping organise for Alzheimer's Research UK. The Edinburgh Knitathon will take place on Saturday 23 September from 11am - 11pm at the Currie Guide Hut. The Knitathon can be reached on the 44 bus, and located on Lanark Road West. Feel free to come along, there is a suggested £10 donation for entry (all to be donated to Alzheimer's Research UK). There will be tea, coffee and cake. Feel free to bring along some food (there is a full kitchen available) and if you would like anything else to drink! Bring some wool and needles and help us knit items for care homes in and around Edinburgh too!

If you are unable to make it to the event, please consider donating to a worthy cause on the Just Giving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
