Story

In 2019 sadly our first and only Honorary life president George Smith
passed away.  George had a
unprecedented career which spanned over a remarkable 58 years where he served both as a referee and later as an Referee observer.

It was the attention of the management committee to raise money at the Annual dinner in 2020 for Blood Bike Scotland which was a charity close to George and his family.  As to the ever changing time in the current pandemic we would still like to raise money for this charity.  Therefore we would like to encourage all members to take part in “An Hour with George”

What is it?

As an association we want to do a 24 hour charity run.  In which we would ask each participating members to do an hour of running, walking or cycling at a designated time slot.
