Story
The Skinners' Education Foundation (SEF) provides support and services to a family of nine schools across London and the Southeast, helping over 7,500 pupils from some of the most disadvantaged communities in the country.
The SEF does this by providing grant-funding to ensure each student has the chance to make the most of the opportunities available at their school. The SEF also provides leadership, support and professional development opportunities for teachers to ensure the best possible education for all.
My mother was heavily involved in the SEF's work and was for a time a Governor of Skinners' Kent Academy. I am delighted to be able to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise funds for a charity she cared so much about.
