The phone rang. It was a mom, calling for her child. "My kid is having gender issues, and I'm trying to support them, but I think we need help. Do you have any counselors we can talk to?" TCC provides free mental health services.The doorbell rang at TCC the other day. There was a woman, all bundled up. She said, "I understand you can help me with food?" TCC provides emergency food assistance and referrals to longer term help at area food banks.One of our volunteers tells his story, "I really needed to find an LGBTQ 12-step program. One of the guys at my group suggested TCC. I went to their men's recovery group and I never looked back.
