Ed Sumner was many things. A wonderful husband, a loving father, an esteemed colleague and a loyal and generous friend. He was also a marathon runner and all round athlete, with a real passion for sport. Hence perhaps his strong commitment to the Youth Sport Trust, a charity with a bold vision to ensure every child in the UK gets to enjoy the life changing benefits of play and sport, regardless of their background or circumstances. Ed's recent passing is a devastating loss for all those who knew him, but we hope to continue his good work and honour his memory by raising money for this very worthwhile charity. And what better way than by putting on our running shoes and participating in a sport Ed loved? We're a bunch of middle-aged dads, of questionable fitness, trying to do our bit, so please give whatever you can in memory of our dear friend.
