I’m doing this event to fundraise for Motor neurone disease (MND). This is a disease that is rarely hereditary but has affected two members of my family in recent years. My Grandfather - Martin passed away from it in 2012 and my Aunt - Debbie is currently suffering from it.

Motor neurone disease (MND) describes a group of diseases that affect the nerves (motor neurones) in the brain and spinal cord that tell your muscles what to do.
