We’re the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. And we’re building a future where people and nature thrive together. That’s why we’re passionate about sharing the planet’s resources more sustainably, tackling climate change and protecting endangered wildlife.

Story

Just over one year ago Sir Bradley Wiggins completed this exact 100 mile race to win a gold medal for team GB in the 2012 Olympics.

Now one year later after hours of intensive training the spot light is on another elite athlete…….Ed Partridge.

Ed is stepping up to the podium, not because he is after a gold medal, not because he is after a Knighthood (although that would be nice) but because he is dedicated to saving his close friend the Panda.

The Partridge & The Panda have been close companions since 1989 when a little Partridge chick of 9 years old joined WWF and a lifelong friendship began.

But unfortunately the panda is now in trouble because his forest home has shrunk and become fragmented over many years due to agriculture, commercial logging and development in China.

So now the Partridge is doing this epic ride to raise money to help save his friend.

Please sponsor Ed so that he can give the money to WWF to help save his friend the Panda.
