The Orchestra of the City was founded in April 2003. The Orchestra of the City gives talented and enthusiastic voluntary musicians a chance to play regularly in a non-professional orchestra of a high standard with challenging repertoire.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Orchestra of the City is one of the leading non-professional orchestras in London made up entirely of people who are passionate about making great quality, exciting music together and sharing this with anyone who enjoys listening.  Funds from the orchestra come from the players themselves, who pay for the privilege, however, running an orchestra of this size is a costly process and so for that reason we are doing a Tchaikovsky Playathon to help raise money to enable us to keep playing exciting and enjoyable concerts.  Any donation you can make would be gratefully recieved.

Thank you so much.
