For over 35 years, St Luke’s has been providing free of charge specialist palliative care and support for people in mid & south Cheshire living with life limiting illnesses. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and end of life care.

Story

Following the cancellation of this year's London Marathon, I have decided to bring the challenge to Eddisbury by walking 26.2 miles along Cheshire's Sandstone Trail.

With the aim of raising money and spreading awareness for the charities Home-Start Cheshire and St Luke's Cheshire Hospice, I, along with my wife Julia, will be attempting the feat on Sunday 4th October.

St Luke's Cheshire Hospice is a fantastic charity that has provided palliative care in Cheshire since 1988.

Located in Winsford, the Hospice looked after over 1,000 patients last year, whilst relying on donations for nearly 85% of its funding.

In light of this I am hoping to raise as much as possible to help them continue their invaluable work.
