We provide support to children & families to improve their experience of CHD

Story

Last year i joined the Remembering harvey Charity ride team that cycled from London to Paris in aid of the British Heart Foundation. A fantastic Charity doing fantastic work.

This year we are upping the Challenge and are riding Coast to Coast across the UK taking in 150 miles of gruelling Hills over 4500meters of Climbing (because obviously i love hills and i have the perfect physique made for  hill climbing!....NOT! )

The Big Change this year is we are all riding for a fantastic Local charity called Keep the Beat. Please take 5 mins to look at their website to see the fantastic work that Adam and his Family do at  www.keepthebeat.co.uk and to see the inspiration behind the Charity, Adams son Albert, who has suffered with a heart condition since Birth and recently underwent a successful heart transplant.

Along with the fantastic support Keep the Beat already provide to families at Glenfield Hospital, the Charity has been asked to fund raise for the purchase of a simulation Manequin so that the hospital can provide a permanent simulation cubicle in the Intensive care unit at a cost £25,000.

Please spare whatever you can from the price of a pint to bottle of wine or more, its all greatly received and i promise put to fantastic use.

Many thanks

Ed
